Finkurve Financial Services reported H1 FY27 operating income of INR 165.04 crore, up 87.7%, and profit after tax of INR 18.04 crore, up 63.8%. Assets under management reached INR 1,311.5 crore, up 95.4% year on year, while retail gold loans formed 96% of the book. The company had 122 branches and a net bad-loan ratio of 2.37%. Management targets co-lending at up to 30% of assets under management over the next few years.
Rapid loan and profit growth is positive, but higher borrowing and rising defaults warrant close attention to credit quality and execution.
