Five-Star Business Finance reported unaudited profit after tax of INR 570.73 crore for the half year ended September 30, 2026, up 3.3% year on year. September-quarter profit was INR 299.32 crore. Total income rose 7.3% to INR 1,713.77 crore, but cash used in operations was INR 770.69 crore. Tax included an INR 18.75 crore reversal for earlier years. The auditors gave an unqualified report, and all listed debenture conditions were met.
Profit growth is positive. The cash outflow mainly reflects loan growth, but funding needs and a higher impaired-loan ratio may weigh on sentiment.
