Foods & Inns reported Q3 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of ₹14,644 lakhs, down about 21% from ₹18,544 lakhs in Q3 FY25, with total income at ₹14,907 lakhs. Despite the sharp revenue drop, standalone profit after tax (PAT) rose to ₹153 lakhs from ₹100 lakhs, as cost of materials consumed fell sharply and finance costs eased, supporting an EBITDA margin expansion to roughly 13.3% from 11.8% in the year-ago quarter. On a 9-month basis, however, the picture is weaker — standalone revenue declined around 4.8% to ₹56,542 lakhs and PAT fell about 45% to ₹1,096 lakhs, reflecting margin pressure over the full period. Consolidated results tracked the standalone trend: Q3 revenue fell about 21% YoY to ₹15,047 lakhs, while 9M PAT dropped nearly 57% to ₹820 lakhs. The statutory auditor, G.M. Kapadia & Co., issued an unqualified limited review report on both sets of results.
Investors may view the Q3 results as mixed — profit improved sequentially on cost discipline, but the steep YoY revenue decline and a sharp drop in 9M consolidated profits suggest demand weakness. The clean auditor report is a positive, but the persistent top-line contraction and earnings erosion over the nine-month period could weigh on the stock in the near term.
