On the reaction day the stock moved 2.2 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 2.2 pts more than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Delhi High Court on Aug 31, 2026 directed appointment of a forensic auditor to investigate the shareholding dissipation of erstwhile promoters Singh Brothers and the subsequent change in control of Fortis Healthcare. The probe also covers banks, financial institutions, promoters' controlled entities, and the company. No liability, penalty or fine has been imposed on Fortis, which was not a party to the original Daiichi Sankyo dispute. The audit is purely investigative in nature.
No financial penalty on the company. Forensic audit may create short-term uncertainty but no liability has been fastened on Fortis.
