Fortis Healthcare's board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations rose about 30% year-on-year to Rs 43,303 lacs from Rs 33,340 lacs in Q1 FY25. Total income grew to Rs 47,304 lacs from Rs 36,883 lacs. EBITDA expanded to Rs 12,812 lacs from Rs 9,337 lacs, while operating profit margin widened to 20.35% from 17.38%. Net profit came in at Rs 5,188 lacs (EPS Rs 0.69), sharply higher than Rs 2,683 lacs a year ago, aided by an exceptional gain of Rs 1,688 lacs from reversal of impairment on subsidiary investments. The board also appointed B S R & Co. LLP as Tax Auditor for FY 2024-25. The auditor issued an unmodified limited review report with emphasis-of-matter notes on the ongoing SFIO investigation and historical related-party transactions predating the 2018 board reconstitution.
Strong quarterly showing with revenue and profit growth, though a portion of the PAT jump is supported by a one-time impairment reversal rather than core operations. Investors should track the SFIO investigation, RHT Health Trust-related Supreme Court proceedings, and other legacy legal matters as ongoing overhangs.
