Fortis reported Q2 FY27 revenue of INR 2,735 crore, up 17.3%, and profit after tax of INR 429 crore, up 4%, excluding exceptional items. H1 revenue rose 17.4% to INR 5,280 crore and profit after tax rose 5.8% to INR 783 crore. Hospital revenue grew 18.6% and diagnostics revenue 12.2%. Management aims for about 12,000 beds over 3-5 years, up from about 6,300 now.
Revenue growth is strong, but profit lagged and margins eased. The bed target may aid long-term growth, though execution remains a risk.
