Morganite Crucible (India), the BSE-listed crucible maker under Morgan Advanced Materials, reported FY25 revenue from operations of Rs. 17,418.62 lakhs, up about 3.7% from Rs. 16,793.43 lakhs in FY24. Profit after tax rose to Rs. 2,754.27 lakhs from Rs. 2,348.59 lakhs, roughly a 17% increase, with full-year EPS of Rs. 49.18 versus Rs. 41.94. For Q4 FY25 alone, revenue grew around 6% year-on-year to Rs. 4,232.09 lakhs, while quarterly PAT jumped to Rs. 288.37 lakhs from just Rs. 34.14 lakhs a year ago, when results were weighed down by a one-time VRS exceptional charge of Rs. 321.08 lakhs. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 19 per share (face value Rs. 5), taking total FY25 dividends to Rs. 49 per share including the Rs. 30 interim already paid. Statutory auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued a clean, unmodified opinion on the audited results.
Steady revenue growth, higher tax efficiency compared with FY24, a strong Rs. 49 per share total dividend, and a clean audit opinion are positive for shareholders. The absence of any new exceptional charges removes near-term overhangs on the stock.
