Franklin Industries Ltd (formerly Murad Properties & Projects Ltd) announced audited standalone financial results for Q4 and full year ended 31 March 2025 at a board meeting held on 28 May 2025. The statutory auditor SSRV & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion on the results. However, Q4 FY25 swung to a loss before exceptional items of approximately Rs 347.51 lac, compared to a profit of Rs 445.11 lac in Q3 FY25 and Rs 482.76 lac in Q4 FY24. Full year total income stood at Rs 1,117.28 lac versus Rs 1,131.67 lac in FY24, a marginal decline of around 1.3%. Basic EPS for Q4 FY25 turned negative at about Rs (0.11) per share. The company also separately confirmed its borrowing of just Rs 0.25 Cr means it is not classified as a Large Corporate under SEBI norms.
The clean audit opinion is a positive, but the sharp Q4 FY25 loss versus profitable prior quarters signals quarterly volatility and may weigh on near-term sentiment. Full-year FY25 numbers need closer scrutiny given the weak closing quarter.
