Futura Polyesters posts loss of Rs 17.05 cr in H1 FY25, auditor flags going concern doubts
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Futura Polyesters posted a loss of Rs 1,705.26 lakhs in H1 FY25 versus Rs 275.83 lakhs a year ago, filed nearly two years late. Auditor issued a qualified conclusion flagging that net worth is fully eroded, borrowings are classified as NPA, and going concern is doubtful. Manufacturing operations have been discontinued since December 2012 and revenue is near zero. Company settled a Rs 243.45 crore One-Time Settlement with lenders in June 2025. Share trading remains suspended and the firm has a backlog of about 19 quarters of unaudited results still to be filed.
Negative net worth, NPA borrowings, and ongoing trading suspension make this a high-risk situation. Going concern doubts and severe filing delays are major red flags for investors.
