G M Polyplast Limited reported audited FY25 results with revenue from operations of Rs 9,615.55 lakhs, up about 4.5% from Rs 9,201.91 lakhs in FY24. Profit before tax rose modestly to Rs 999.02 lakhs (vs Rs 986.81 lakhs), while net profit grew around 7.9% to Rs 764.44 lakhs from Rs 708.65 lakhs. Basic EPS stood at Rs 5.53 versus Rs 5.27 in the previous year. The board also approved reappointment of two directors and appointed a new internal auditor (M/s D D & Associates) and a new secretarial auditor, after the previous internal auditor was unavailable. The statutory auditor M/s Ajmera & Ajmera issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results.
Modest top-line and bottom-line growth with a clean audit opinion is mildly positive for shareholders. However, operating cash flow turned sharply negative (Rs -84.31 lakhs vs Rs +487.32 lakhs last year) due to working capital outflows, and cash balances nearly halved, which is a watchpoint for liquidity despite low debt levels.
