G.S. Auto International posted Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 3,547 lakh, down 5.7% YoY from Rs 3,763 lakh. Despite the revenue dip, net profit surged 109% YoY to Rs 127 lakh (from Rs 61 lakh), aided by lower raw material costs (Rs 1,730 lakh vs Rs 1,860 lakh) and reduced other expenses. EPS rose to Rs 0.45 from Rs 0.24. EBITDA margin expanded to about 9.2% from 7%. The company also completed a 1:2 rights issue, allotting 2.90 crore partly paid shares of Rs 2.50 each.
Margin expansion drives strong profit growth despite weak top line. Rights issue is dilutive but boosts capital base.
