On the reaction day the stock moved 1.7 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.8 pts more than its Industrial Gases peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Gagan Gases Ltd reported Q2 FY27 revenue of Rs 70.46 lacs, down sharply from Rs 164.67 lacs in Q2 FY26. H1 revenue fell to Rs 123.54 lacs from Rs 250.56 lacs. Despite lower revenue, the company swung to a profit with H1 PAT of Rs 5.81 lacs versus a loss of Rs 7.45 lacs last year. Q2 PAT was Rs 1.88 lacs. Auditor Dilip K Neema and Associates issued an unmodified opinion. Other equity remains negative at minus 100.91 lacs.
Mixed signals: revenue halved but profitability improved. Accumulated losses persist with negative reserves. Watch for sustained recovery.
