GAIL (India) reported audited financial results for Q4 and FY25 along with a final dividend recommendation. Revenue from Operations for FY25 stood at ₹1,37,287.56 crore, up about 5% from ₹1,30,638.11 crore in FY24. Net Profit for FY25 jumped to ₹11,312.32 crore from ₹8,836.48 crore, a growth of about 28%, boosted by an exceptional income of ₹2,440.03 crore from an LNG supplier settlement. Q4 FY25 revenue rose to ₹35,707.45 crore (from ₹32,334.50 crore in Q4 FY24), but Q4 standalone net profit dipped slightly to ₹2,049.03 crore from ₹2,176.97 crore. EPS for FY25 stood at ₹17.20 vs ₹13.44 previously. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹1.00 per share (10%) on top of the ₹6.50 interim dividend already paid during the year. Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with three emphasis-of-matter notes.
Strong full-year profit growth of ~28% and a cumulative ₹7.50 per share dividend (interim + final) is positive for shareholders. The exceptional LNG settlement boosted headline earnings, so underlying core profit growth is more modest. Contested regulatory and excise matters worth over ₹3,600 crore remain contingent liabilities worth monitoring.
