Galaxy Agrico Exports Ltd reported its Q3 FY26 (Oct-Dec 2025) unaudited financial results. Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 74.39 lakhs, broadly flat compared to Rs 75.10 lakhs in the previous quarter, but down sharply from Rs 262.03 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. The company posted a loss before tax and exceptional items of Rs 84.14 lakhs for the quarter, and reported an exceptional item of Rs 570.78 lakhs linked to a slump sale transaction (per Note 5, highlighted by the auditor). After exceptional items and tax, standalone PAT for Q3 was a loss of Rs 10.32 lakhs. For the nine months ended Dec 2025, PAT was Rs 498.66 lakhs versus a loss of Rs 22.30 lakhs in the same period last year, with the swing driven largely by the exceptional item. The board also approved key management changes, including the Managing Director moving to Non-Executive Director and a new Managing Director being appointed.
The Q3 result shows a weak operational quarter with a loss at the PBT level before exceptional items, and the auditor specifically flagged the slump sale transaction, which shareholders should monitor for clarity. The PAT swing is non-recurring in nature, so it does not reflect improved core profitability. Combined with senior management changes, this could increase governance and execution risk for retail investors.
