Galaxy Agrico Exports reported audited results for FY25 with revenue from operations falling sharply to Rs. 359.04 lakhs from Rs. 732.40 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 51%. Despite the steep revenue drop, the company swung to a profit of Rs. 8.16 lakhs for the full year compared to a loss of Rs. 65.93 lakhs in the previous year. For Q4 FY25, revenue stood at Rs. 87.57 lakhs and profit at Rs. 2.43 lakhs, against a loss of Rs. 14.51 lakhs in Q4 FY24. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified opinion but included an Emphasis of Matter noting that fixed assets and inventories were not independently verified. Total assets were Rs. 634.67 lakhs, while long-term borrowings rose to Rs. 165.25 lakhs from Rs. 98.39 lakhs. Operating cash flow remained negative at Rs. 21.42 lakhs, though improved from Rs. 63.98 lakhs last year.
The return to profit came on a sharply smaller revenue base, which is a concern rather than a positive signal. Combined with rising long-term debt and still-negative operating cash flow, the turnaround looks fragile and driven mainly by cost cuts rather than real business growth.
