Gallard Steel Ltd reported strong FY26 results with revenue growing 27.62% year-on-year to ₹6,804.49 Lakhs and PAT surging 50.08% to ₹910.48 Lakhs. The company, which makes precision engineering components for railway, defence, power and industrial sectors, saw H2FY26 revenue at ₹3,648.47 Lakhs (up 13.64% YoY) and H2FY26 PAT at ₹481.17 Lakhs (up 53.61% YoY). Manufacturing facilities are running at approximately 98% capacity utilisation, and a major capacity expansion is underway with casting capacity being increased from 2,400 to 6,100 MT per annum. The new plant is expected to start operations by June 2026 and reach 70-80% utilisation by March 2027. While EBITDA margin expanded 165 bps in H2, it compressed 99.7 bps for the full year to 22.39%.
The 50% PAT growth and 27.6% revenue growth demonstrate strong business momentum and operational execution. However, the full-year EBITDA margin compression despite higher absolute profits may concern some investors about cost efficiency at scale. The high capacity utilisation and expansion plans indicate good demand visibility for FY27.
