Gandhar Oil Refinery reported FY25 standalone revenue of Rs 3,160.26 crore, up about 11% from Rs 2,841.74 crore in FY24, but standalone net profit fell sharply to Rs 75.29 crore from Rs 118.71 crore, a drop of roughly 37%. Consolidated revenue declined about 5% to Rs 3,896.92 crore and consolidated net profit fell nearly 50% to Rs 83.50 crore from Rs 165.32 crore, indicating significant margin compression. Q4 FY25 showed a recovery in profitability with standalone net profit rising about 73% YoY to Rs 10.53 crore. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share (25%) and appointed M/s. KJK & Associates as the new statutory auditor for a 5-year term after the previous auditor's term expired. The 33rd AGM is scheduled for August 12, 2025, with the record date set as August 1, 2025.
Despite higher standalone revenue, the sharp drop in profits and negative operating cash flow raise concerns about profitability and cost pressures; the modest dividend and change in statutory auditor may also draw investor attention, though the unqualified audit opinion and the Q4 profit recovery are positive signals.
