Gandhi Special Tubes Limited reported strong FY2026 results with revenue from operations at Rs. 19,177.02 lakhs (up 11.1% from Rs. 17,253.68 lakhs). Profit after tax grew 23.6% to Rs. 6,636.43 lakhs from Rs. 5,367.41 lakhs. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 15 per share (300% on Rs. 5 face value) and approved a share buyback of up to 8,68,100 shares at Rs. 900 per share for a maximum of Rs. 78.12 crore. The buyback represents 7.14% of total paid-up capital and is subject to shareholder approval. An exceptional item of Rs. 93.18 lakhs (net) was recognized due to reassessment of gratuity and leave liabilities under new labour codes. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results.
The strong PAT growth of 23.6%, clean audit opinion, and attractive buyback at Rs. 900 per share are positive signals for shareholders. The dividend and buyback provide multiple value unlock pathways for investors.
