Ganesh Benzoplast Limited reported strong consolidated results for FY26 with revenue from operations growing 9.9% to Rs 4,114.19 million from Rs 3,743.11 million in FY25. Profit after tax surged 92.5% to Rs 733.36 million versus Rs 380.86 million in the previous year, with EPS improving to Rs 10.19 from Rs 5.29. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated financial results. However, auditors included an Emphasis of Matter regarding an FIR and complaint registered with the Economic Offences Wing in July 2024 against the company, directors and KMPs concerning alleged unauthorized loans by a former director of GBL Chemical Ltd (WOS). The company has filed a petition to quash the FIR which is pending before Delhi High Court. The Board also approved formation of a Wholly Owned Subsidiary in Singapore and appointed new Cost Auditors (M/s S.K. Agrawal & Associates) and Internal Auditors (M/s V K Baheti & Co.).
The exceptional PAT growth of 92.5% demonstrating strong operational performance is positive for shareholders. However, the unresolved FIR matter mentioned in the Emphasis of Matter section may create some regulatory overhang and investor caution despite the clean audit opinion.
