Garware Hi-Tech Films reported record FY26 performance with revenue of Rs 2,120 crore (highest ever) and PAT of Rs 338 crore. Q4 FY26 was particularly strong with revenue at Rs 597 crore (up 8.9% YoY), EBITDA at Rs 157 crore (up 29% YoY), and PAT at Rs 108 crore (up 39.1% YoY). EBITDA margin expanded by 409 basis points YoY to 26.2% in Q4, driven by operating leverage and favourable product mix. The company announced a Rs 192 crore capex for a new Sun Control Film line with 1,200 LSF capacity addition, expected to start production in June 2027. The company also expanded its D2C footprint to 250+ Garware Application Studios in India and 11 international studios.
Strong profitability growth and margin expansion signal operational strength, though the stock may face profit-taking after recent gains. The Rs 192 crore capex investment indicates confidence in future growth but will require monitoring of execution timelines and return on investment.
