Garware Technical Fibres reported audited standalone FY2025-26 results with revenue of Rs. 1,41,898 lakhs, down 4.7% from Rs. 1,48,868 lakhs in FY2024-25. Standalone PAT declined marginally to Rs. 21,127 lakhs from Rs. 21,407 lakhs, with EPS at Rs. 21.28 vs Rs. 21.56. Consolidated revenue stood at Rs. 1,52,879 lakhs with PAT at Rs. 19,867 lakhs, down 14.2% YoY due to the new labour codes. An exceptional charge of Rs. 1,390 lakhs was recorded for increased gratuity and leave liability under consolidated labour codes effective November 2025. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1 per share (10%) adding to the Rs. 8 per share interim already paid. A share buyback of up to 16.17 lakh shares at Rs. 680 per share (Rs. 11,000 lakhs) was also approved. The company acquired 100% stakes in Offshore & Trawl System AS and Advanced Mooring System AS in Norway through its UK subsidiary. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Revenue and PAT declined YoY due to macro headwinds and one-time labour code charges, though the company maintains healthy cash position with Rs. 3,185 lakhs standalone cash. The buyback signals confidence in intrinsic value, while dividend continuity is positive for shareholders.
