GE Power India reported Q1 FY27 (quarter ended 30 June 2026) results. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs 3,086.9 crore from Rs 2,867.3 crore YoY. Total income was nearly flat at Rs 3,405.7 crore. Profit before tax from continuing operations jumped to Rs 688.2 crore from Rs 440.2 crore. Net profit surged to Rs 525.5 crore from Rs 316.1 crore. EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 22.5% from 15.6%. Durgapur facility demerger to JSW Energy continues and is shown as discontinued operations. Order backlog dropped 41% to Rs 15,454 crore due to FGD contract terminations. Deloitte gave an unmodified review opinion.
Strong margin expansion and profit growth signal improved operations, but sharp order book decline raises future revenue concerns.
