GE Vernova T&D India reported strong Q2 FY26 results with revenue from operations of Rs. 15,384.6 million, up about 39% year-on-year from Rs. 11,077.7 million. Net profit for the quarter jumped to Rs. 2,994.8 million, more than double the Rs. 1,446.2 million earned in Q2 FY25. For the first half of FY26, revenue rose nearly 39% to Rs. 28,685.9 million and net profit more than doubled to Rs. 5,906.8 million, lifting EPS to Rs. 23.07 from Rs. 10.90 a year ago. The Board also approved a Rs. 806 crore investment to expand transformer, reactor and GIS/AIS capacity at its Vadodara, Hosur and Padappai plants, which will lift transformer and reactor capacity by over 50% and GIS/AIS capacity by up to 25%, funded entirely through internal accruals by 2026-2028. Cash and equivalents stood strong at Rs. 8,855.1 million with no borrowings, and the auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells gave an unqualified limited review report.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth, zero debt, and a fully self-funded capex plan signal healthy business momentum and are positive for shareholders; near-term stock reaction is likely favorable though the multi-year capacity build-out will need sustained demand to pay off.
