GEE Limited reported unaudited Q2 FY26 (ended Sep 30, 2025) standalone results with revenue from operations of Rs. 8,545.15 lakhs vs Rs. 8,283.15 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a modest ~3% YoY rise. Half-year revenue was almost flat at Rs. 16,462.85 lakhs vs Rs. 16,492.08 lakhs. Profit after tax surged to Rs. 420.90 lakhs in Q2 from Rs. 191.11 lakhs a year ago (more than double, ~120% YoY growth), while H1 PAT rose ~14% to Rs. 518.49 lakhs. The strong profit jump was driven by better cost control, lower raw material costs, and a swing in inventory changes, with EBITDA margin expanding notably. The Board also approved a 1:1 bonus issue (allotted on Oct 6, 2025) and authorised management to monetise the company's land parcel at Wagle Estate, Thane. The statutory auditor's limited review report is clean and unmodified.
Despite flat top-line, the sharp jump in quarterly profit and margin expansion signal improved operating efficiency, which is a positive for shareholders. The 1:1 bonus issue has already been executed, and any successful land monetisation at Wagle Estate could unlock additional value for the stock.
