On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Gem Aromatics reported Q2 FY27 consolidated revenue of Rs 104.0 crore, up 16.2% year on year, and H1 revenue of Rs 202.8 crore, up 14.5%. Q2 gross margin rose to 25.4% and EBITDA margin to 7.6%. Higher depreciation from the new Dahej plant of Rs 9.5 crore drove a Q2 loss of Rs 7.0 crore and H1 loss of Rs 14.9 crore. Cooling agent shipments and Safranal production began, with initial revenue expected in Q3 FY27.
Revenue growth and better Q2 margins help, but Dahej depreciation, H1 losses and cash flow pressure keep the near-term earnings outlook cautious.
