GIC Re reported strong full-year FY2025-26 results with PAT growing 25.2% to Rs 8,39,218 Lakhs from Rs 6,70,136 Lakhs in FY2024-25. Gross premiums written increased 6.9% to Rs 44,00,674 Lakhs, while net premiums rose 7.2% to Rs 40,57,125 Lakhs. EPS improved from Rs 38.20 to Rs 47.84. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 13.25 per share (265%) for FY2025-26, up from Rs 10 per share in the previous year. Joint statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The solvency ratio strengthened to 4.21 from 3.70, and the combined ratio improved to 106.02 from 108.81. The Dubai branch continues in run-off status with a portfolio transfer agreement in place.
Strong 25% PAT growth and improved solvency ratio indicate healthy financial performance. Higher dividend payout is positive for shareholders and reflects confidence in the company's profitability.
