GIC Housing Finance's Board, at its May 16, 2025 meeting, approved audited FY25 results and recommended a Final Dividend of Rs. 4.50 per equity share (45% on Rs. 10 face value), subject to shareholder approval at the 35th AGM on August 19, 2025. The record date for the dividend is July 18, 2025. For FY25, standalone net profit rose to Rs. 16,017 lakh (from Rs. 15,116 lakh in FY24), with EPS of Rs. 29.74 vs Rs. 28.07. Total revenue from operations grew to Rs. 1,07,891 lakh from Rs. 1,05,716 lakh. Loan book expanded to Rs. 10,21,231 lakh, and the Stage 3 (NPA) ratio improved to 3.03% from 3.72%. The Board also approved raising up to Rs. 2,500 crore via NCDs/bonds on private placement, and related-party transactions up to Rs. 1,000 crore with promoter companies.
The dividend is maintained at Rs. 4.50 per share, same as the prior year, signalling consistent shareholder returns despite a modest profit growth of about 6%. Improving asset quality (lower NPAs) and a higher loan book are positive, but an exceptional Rs. 1,306 lakh write-off on legacy loan origination software slightly weighed on profitability.
