GIC Housing Finance's board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY25, along with a clean (unmodified) audit opinion from statutory auditors. Net profit for FY25 rose to Rs. 160.17 crore from Rs. 151.16 crore in FY24, with EPS at Rs. 29.74 vs Rs. 28.07. Total income grew modestly to Rs. 1,088.88 crore from Rs. 1,069.64 crore. The board recommended a 45% dividend (Rs. 4.50 per share), with record date July 18, 2025 and AGM on August 19, 2025. The company also sought shareholder approval to raise up to Rs. 2,500 crore via NCDs/bonds on private placement, and approved material related party transactions with promoter companies up to Rs. 1,000 crore. Asset quality improved with Stage 3 (NPA) ratio falling to 3.03% from 3.72%.
Shareholders benefit from a stable 45% dividend and improving asset quality, though a Rs. 13.06 crore one-time write-off of LOS software and a swing to negative operating cash flow of Rs. 17.5 crore in FY25 (vs positive Rs. 522 crore in FY24) may draw investor attention. The high debt-equity ratio of 4.44x and large proposed NCD borrowing of Rs. 2,500 crore signal continued reliance on leverage for growth.
