Glance Finance Ltd, an RBI-registered NBFC, reported its Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26 results at a board meeting held on November 6, 2025. Total income for Q2 FY26 fell sharply to ₹948.34 lakhs from ₹1,349.11 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a drop of nearly 30%. For H1 FY26, total income declined to ₹1,276.50 lakhs from ₹1,701.19 lakhs. Net profit after tax collapsed to ₹6.93 lakhs in Q2 (vs ₹98.13 lakhs YoY) and ₹26.74 lakhs in H1 (vs ₹189.54 lakhs YoY), reflecting profit compression of roughly 86% in the half year. EPS dropped to ₹0.31 in Q2 from ₹4.35. The balance sheet strengthened with total equity rising to ₹5,364 lakhs and borrowings nearly halving to ₹178 lakhs, while operating cash flow remained positive at ₹371 lakhs.
Shareholders should note the steep fall in both revenue and profits, partly cushioned by fair value gains on investments that propped up total comprehensive income. The statutory auditor issued a qualified review report because gratuity and leave encashment provisions were made on an estimated basis rather than an actuarial valuation as required under Ind AS 19, leaving a compliance overhang on the financials.
