Global Education Limited's Board, at its meeting on November 3, 2025, declared a first interim dividend of Rs. 0.50 per equity share (25% on face value of Rs. 2) for FY26, with record date fixed as November 12, 2025. For Q2 FY26, standalone revenue from operations grew modestly to Rs. 2,469.45 lakhs from Rs. 2,339.42 lakhs a year ago, but standalone net profit fell sharply to Rs. 657.18 lakhs from Rs. 1,045.74 lakhs, a drop of about 37%. Consolidated net profit also declined to Rs. 738.18 lakhs from Rs. 1,065.14 lakhs year-on-year. Consolidated EPS came in at Rs. 1.45 versus Rs. 2.10 in Q2 FY25. The company also appointed CA Anshul Lalit Jain as the new Chief Financial Officer effective November 5, 2025, and reconstituted Board committees accordingly.
Despite announcing an interim dividend, the sharp year-on-year decline in profits may dampen positive sentiment; the dividend provides some income support to shareholders but the weak earnings print is likely to weigh on the stock in the near term.
