The Board of Global Health Limited (Medanta) approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs. 32,041.46 million (FY24 restated: Rs. 29,747.24 million), while standalone profit after tax declined slightly to Rs. 4,615.28 million (FY24 restated: Rs. 4,863.51 million) due to a one-time exceptional item of Rs. 498.96 million (stamp duty on the Medanta Holdings merger). Consolidated revenue grew to Rs. 36,921.15 million with consolidated PAT at Rs. 4,813.18 million. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 (25%) per share of face value Rs. 2. Dr. Pankaj Dhamija was appointed as Hospital Director for the Gurugram unit. Prior-year figures have been restated following the NCLT-approved merger of wholly-owned subsidiary Medanta Holdings Private Limited, effective April 1, 2024.
The results show steady revenue growth but slightly lower standalone profits due to the merger-related stamp duty charge. The dividend, expansion plans (Mumbai, Delhi Pitampura, Ranchi, Guwahati), and clean auditor opinion with only an Emphasis of Matter on the amalgamation are positive signals for shareholders, though margin compression from rising costs may be worth monitoring.
