Medanta Q1 FY27 standalone revenue rose 22.3% YoY to Rs 1,079 cr (consolidated up 26.5% at Rs 1,304 cr). Standalone PAT fell 9.6% to Rs 137 cr due to higher employee and finance costs. Final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share declared with record date Aug 14. Board approved revised Guwahati hospital plan raising capacity from 400 to 650 beds at about Rs 970 cr over 3-4 years. Also signed a deal to acquire a 79-bed oncology hospital in Indore.
Strong topline growth but margin pressure from higher staff and finance costs. Aggressive expansion and acquisition signal long-term growth push.
