On the reaction day the stock moved 7.0 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 5.5 pts less than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Consolidated Q2 revenue rose 14.9% to Rs 109.92 crore and profit after tax rose 21.1% to Rs 15.84 crore. H1 revenue rose 17.2% to Rs 213.01 crore and profit after tax rose 33.9% to Rs 31.74 crore. Results included Rs 3.56 crore of pre-tax exceptional gains. The Mumbai hospital plan expands from 500 to 750 beds, lifting project cost to Rs 1,530 crore. Prior periods were restated after the Medanta Holdings merger.
Profit growth supports the stock, but weaker operating margins, one-off gains and a Rs 330 crore project cost rise may weigh on it.
