On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.1 pts less than its Power Generation peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2FY27 income was INR 15.9 billion, down 17% year on year. Operating earnings (EBITDA) fell 13% to INR 4.1 billion; margin was 26%. Profit after tax was INR 1.53 billion against INR 8.95 billion; both periods included exceptional gains, and without them Q2 made a loss of INR 728 million. Six-month income: INR 33.4 billion. Plant overhauls and slower meter installation hurt revenue. Gross debt fell INR 1.5 billion and net debt INR 3.2 billion.
Weak earnings may weigh on the stock, but lower net debt and planned Warora refinancing support the balance sheet; one-off gains distort comparisons.
