Godavari Biorefineries' board, on February 13, 2026, approved unaudited standalone and consolidated results for Q3 FY26 and nine months ended December 2025. Consolidated Q3 revenue rose about 2.8% year-on-year to Rs 459.85 crore, and the company swung to a profit of Rs 8.25 crore versus Rs 5.76 crore in Q3 FY25, helped by seasonal improvement in the sugar segment. For the nine-month period, revenue grew around 10.3% to Rs 1,423.84 crore, but the company still reported a loss after tax of Rs 49.36 crore, narrower than the Rs 95.34 crore loss in 9M FY25. Losses were aggravated by exceptional charges of Rs 34.53 crore in 9M FY26, including Rs 26.66 crore for additional sugarcane harvesting charges related to the 2023-24 season and Rs 7.88 crore for the impact of India's new labour codes.
The Q3 return to profit is encouraging and reflects the typical seasonal strength of the sugar business during the crushing season, but the nine-month loss and one-time exceptional charges mean shareholders should watch for sustained full-year profitability rather than relying on a single strong quarter.
