Godavari Drugs posted Q1 FY27 standalone total income of Rs 2,810.82 lakhs, up about 18% YoY from Rs 2,382.35 lakhs. Net profit rose around 7% to Rs 110.91 lakhs from Rs 104.06 lakhs. However, total expenses grew nearly 20% YoY, with cost of materials jumping 45% and other expenses up 72%, squeezing profitability. EBITDA margin compressed from about 12.2% to 9.5%. Basic EPS stood at Rs 1.10 versus Rs 1.38, partly hit by a higher share count after equity infusion (paid-up capital rose to Rs 1,012.74 lakhs from Rs 753.05 lakhs). Auditor Ayyadevara & Co. issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Revenue growth is healthy but sharp rise in raw material costs is hurting margins. EPS also diluted by recent equity raise. Mixed signals for shareholders.
