Godavari Drugs reported Q3 FY26 revenue of Rs 2,218 lakhs, down about 25% from Rs 2,955 lakhs in the same quarter last year. For the nine-month period, revenue fell around 17% to Rs 7,265 lakhs versus Rs 8,785 lakhs a year ago. Despite the sharp drop in sales, net profit for Q3 was nearly flat at Rs 75.76 lakhs (vs Rs 76.74 lakhs), while nine-month profit declined about 20% to Rs 280 lakhs. The company reported an exceptional item of Rs 25.13 lakhs in Q3 that boosted pre-tax profit. Earnings per share stood at Rs 1.01 for the quarter (Rs 3.72 for nine months). The statutory auditor, Ayyadevara & Co., issued an unqualified (clean) limited review report.
The steep year-on-year revenue decline is a negative signal for growth, but the company has managed to protect profitability through cost control. Near-term stock sentiment may be weak given falling top-line numbers, though the absence of any auditor qualifications and stable margins limit downside risk.
