Godrej Consumer Products' Board declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share (500 percent on face value of Re 1) for FY26, with record date November 7 and payment by November 30. For Q2 FY26, consolidated revenue rose 4.3 percent year on year to Rs 3,825 cr, but profit after tax fell 6.5 percent to Rs 459 cr due to exceptional items of Rs 29.66 cr covering hair relaxer litigation in USA, Ghana tax settlement, and restructuring in Argentina and Mozambique. Half year PAT was Rs 912 cr versus Rs 942 cr last year. Company also announced acquisition of Muuchstac male grooming brand from Triology Solutions.
Interim dividend rewards shareholders. Q2 profit dip from one-off charges is a watch point; underlying business growth remains modest.
