Goenka Business & Finance reported a strong Q3 FY26, with total revenue from operations more than doubling sequentially to Rs. 8,199.47 lakhs from Rs. 3,140.98 lakhs in Q2, and rising sharply from Rs. 971.18 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue nearly doubled to Rs. 12,125.75 lakhs versus Rs. 6,067.68 lakhs in the year-ago period. The bulk of this jump came from 'Sale of Share / Profit-Loss from F&O', which surged to Rs. 7,629.35 lakhs in Q3 (from Rs. 587.82 lakhs a year earlier). Net profit for Q3 stood at Rs. 266.51 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 72.37 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For nine months, the company swung to a profit of Rs. 36.08 lakhs from a loss of Rs. 62.50 lakhs last year. Interest income rose to Rs. 568.54 lakhs in Q3 from Rs. 383.20 lakhs a year ago. The auditor (MAAK & Associates) issued an unqualified review report.
Sharp topline growth and a swing back to profitability may improve investor sentiment, but a large share of earnings comes from trading in shares and F&O, which is volatile and not core lending income. Shareholders should watch whether this trading-led profit sustains beyond Q3.
