Golden Crest Education & Services Ltd announced its Q3 FY26 (quarter ended 31 Dec 2025) and nine-month standalone unaudited financial results, approved at a board meeting held on 23 Jan 2026. Net sales for the quarter rose modestly to Rs 8.78 lakh (vs Rs 7.50 lakh in Q3 FY25), but net profit fell to Rs 4.97 lakh from Rs 6.69 lakh year-on-year. For the nine-month period, net sales slipped to Rs 26.31 lakh (vs Rs 27.20 lakh) while net profit dropped sharply to Rs 11.76 lakh from Rs 20.10 lakh — a ~41% decline, mainly because expenses jumped from Rs 13.53 lakh to Rs 18.83 lakh. The statutory auditor (Mohindra Arora & Co.) issued an unqualified limited review report. The company also confirmed nil outstanding defaults on loans/debt securities and no deviation in use of funds.
Despite a slight uptick in quarterly revenue, profitability is under pressure with expenses rising faster than income, leading to a notable fall in nine-month PAT. For shareholders, the headline concern is the ~41% YoY drop in nine-month profit and shrinking operating margins, although the balance sheet remains debt-free with no loan defaults.
