Golkunda Diamonds & Jewellery reported audited FY25 results with net sales rising about 9.5% year-on-year to Rs. 25,244 lakhs (vs Rs. 23,047 lakhs in FY24). Profit after tax grew nearly 23% to Rs. 1,182 lakhs from Rs. 962 lakhs, lifting basic EPS to Rs. 16.97 from Rs. 13.81. Profit before tax margin expanded to roughly 6.4% from 5.6%, reflecting better operating efficiency. However, the standalone Q4 picture was weak, with Q4 net sales falling about 23% YoY to Rs. 6,181 lakhs and Q4 PAT dropping about 47% to Rs. 230 lakhs. Operating cash flow improved to Rs. 847 lakhs (vs Rs. 524 lakhs), and total borrowings came down to Rs. 36.08 crore from Rs. 39.22 crore. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.50 per share (15%), subject to shareholder approval.
Positive for shareholders on the back of healthy full-year profit growth, improved cash generation, and a steady dividend, though the sharp Q4 slowdown in both revenue and profit may temper near-term sentiment on growth momentum.
