Grauer & Weil reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 28,793 lakhs for Q3 FY26, up about 5% from Rs. 27,346 lakhs in Q3 FY25. Nine-month revenue rose to Rs. 82,469 lakhs from Rs. 78,959 lakhs. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 3,366 lakhs in Q3 (vs Rs. 4,297 lakhs YoY) and Rs. 11,627 lakhs for 9M (vs Rs. 13,123 lakhs YoY), with EPS at Rs. 0.74 for the quarter. The Surface Finishings segment grew ~12% YoY, but Engineering declined ~28% and Shoppertainment collapsed to near-zero revenue because the company's mall operations remain suspended since March 2025 on a Maharashtra Pollution Control Board order; the company has filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court and has made no provision for consequential claims. The auditor (M. M. Nissim & Co. LLP) issued an unmodified limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Despite top-line growth, shrinking margins and a stressed Shoppertainment (mall) segment due to ongoing regulatory shutdown weighed on earnings, which could pressure the stock in the short term. Investors should watch the Supreme Court outcome on the mall matter, as unfavourable ruling could lead to fresh provisioning.
