Gravita India reported standalone revenue of Rs. 3,481.37 crore for FY2026, up 8% from Rs. 3,222.77 crore in the previous year. Standalone profit after tax grew 37.5% to Rs. 267.02 crore from Rs. 194.13 crore. Consolidated revenue was Rs. 4,265.27 crore with PAT of Rs. 378.33 crore, up 21% from Rs. 312.39 crore. The company acquired 98.95% stake in Rashtriya Metal Industries for Rs. 559.08 crore in March 2026 and plans to set up a copper recycling plant in Gujarat for Rs. 160 crore. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. 7.82 crore compared to positive Rs. 168 crore in the previous year, driven by a large inventory build-up of Rs. 172.31 crore. Borrowings increased significantly to Rs. 332.52 crore from Rs. 8.36 crore. The statutory auditor gave an unmodified opinion, and internal auditor was changed from PwC to Deloitte.
Strong profit growth and strategic acquisitions are positive, but the negative operating cash flow and sharp rise in debt levels are concerns for investors. The Rs. 70.10 crore customs dispute remains a contingent liability.
