Q2 FY27 revenue rose 38% year on year to INR1,427 crore, adjusted EBITDA rose 28% to INR143.37 crore and profit after tax rose 6% to INR102 crore. Lead volumes fell from scrap shortages, but recovery is expected as sourcing expands. Copper EBITDA is guided at INR65-70 per kg, rising to INR80-90 per kg in two to three years. Capital expenditure of INR1,680 crore through FY29 includes a 29,400-ton copper plant at Mandvi.
Strong earnings growth and copper expansion are positive, but lead sourcing uncertainty and heavy capital spending could delay shareholder returns.
