Greaves Cotton delivered strong Q4 FY '26 results with consolidated revenues of INR 1,000 crores (22% YoY growth) and EBITDA of INR 68 crores (49% YoY growth). For FY '26, consolidated revenues stood at INR 3,437 crores (18% growth) with EBITDA of INR 239 crores (76% growth) and PBT of INR 154 crores (118% growth). Standalone FY '26 revenue was INR 2,365 crores with 23% YoY growth and 40 basis points EBITDA margin expansion. The company recorded its highest annual revenue in a decade. Energy Solutions grew 20% YoY with aftermarket up 35%, while Mobility Solutions delivered 16% growth. Greaves Electric Mobility subsidiary grew volumes by 51% with market share expanding from 3.6% to 4.4%. Management targets 16%-18% medium-term organic growth and 13%-15% EBITDA margins for core businesses. The company plans to acquire the remaining 20% of Excel Controlinkage in Q2 and has earmarked INR 500-700 crores CAPEX over 5 years. Near-term margin pressures from commodity prices (aluminum, copper, platinum) are being addressed through passthrough mechanisms.
Strong execution with best-in-decade revenue validates the GREAVES.NEXT transformation strategy. While near-term margin pressures exist from commodity costs, the guided 13-15% EBITDA margins and 16-18% growth targets provide visibility. The planned full acquisition of Excel Controlinkage and improving profitability path at Greaves Electric are positive catalysts for consolidated earnings going forward.
