CARE Ratings has revised the credit ratings for Greenpanel Industries' bank facilities on August 6, 2025. A new long-term facility of Rs.80 crore from Citi Bank has been assigned a rating of CARE A+ with a Negative outlook. The existing long-term/short-term facility of Rs.140 crore (enhanced from Rs.125 crore) has been reaffirmed at CARE A+/CARE A1+, but the outlook has been revised from Stable to Negative. Total rated bank facilities now stand at Rs.220 crore. The revision was based on the company's operational and financial performance for FY25 (audited) and Q1FY26 (unaudited).
While the actual credit rating (A+) has been reaffirmed and not downgraded, the shift in outlook from Stable to Negative signals growing concerns about the company's near-term financial performance, which could lead to higher borrowing costs and may weigh negatively on the stock in the short term.
