Greenpanel Industries Q1 FY27 swings to Rs 1.23 cr profit versus loss last year

Greenpanel Industries posted Q1 FY27 results with revenue from operations at Rs 349.81 crores, up 6.6 percent YoY from Rs 328.19 crores but down 12.3 percent QoQ from Rs 398.93 crores. Net profit was Rs 1.23 crores versus a loss of Rs 34.62 crores in Q1 FY26. EPS stood at Rs 0.10 versus negative Rs 2.82. The MDF segment led the recovery with a segment result of Rs 36.30 crores versus a loss of Rs 11.32 crores YoY. Board also approved reclassification of 8 promoter group entities, all holding nil shares, to public shareholder category. Limited review by auditor SS Kothari Mehta was clean.
Return to profit on YoY basis is positive, though QoQ revenue dipped about 12 percent. Promoter reclassification has no shareholding impact as all entities hold nil shares.
