GRP reported Q2 FY27 income of INR 1,727 million, up 30% year on year. EBITDA rose 60% to INR 182 million and margin improved to 10.5% from 8.6%; PAT rose 226% to INR 64 million. H1 income grew 28% to INR 3,300 million and PAT reached INR 106 million. Raw material inflation cut gross margin to 46%, but efficiencies offset it. Management targets a mid-teen EBITDA margin as new Pyrova and recovered carbon black capacity comes online by FY28.
Profit growth and margin gains are positive, but raw material costs, oil-linked Pyrova earnings, debt and the FY28 capacity ramp-up are key risks.
