GTPL Hathway reported Q1 FY27 standalone revenue of Rs 687.7 crore, up 15.7 percent YoY, but net profit fell sharply to Rs 2 crore from Rs 5.6 crore. Consolidated revenue rose 12.4 percent to Rs 1,015.4 crore with net profit of Rs 1.4 crore versus Rs 7.3 crore. Cable TV segment posted a loss of Rs 4.7 crore. Auditor Deloitte Haskins and Sells highlighted a contingent DoT license fee demand of Rs 975.4 crore on the parent, Rs 374.9 crore on subsidiary GBPL, and Rs 35.4 crore on KCBPL Broadband (up from Rs 33.5 crore). Company signed a Business Transfer Agreement to buy ACT Group cable TV business for Rs 36.2 crore, effective July 1, 2026.
Revenue growth healthy, but sharp PAT decline and about Rs 1,385 crore of DoT contingent liabilities remain key overhangs. ACT cable TV acquisition may add scale.
