GTV Engineering reported audited FY25 results with total income from operations of Rs 10,277.18 lakhs, down about 14.8% from Rs 12,062.02 lakhs in FY24. Despite the revenue decline, profit after tax jumped sharply to Rs 1,104.53 lakhs versus Rs 540.71 lakhs in FY24, more than doubling year-on-year. Profit before tax rose to Rs 1,521.42 lakhs from Rs 679.93 lakhs, indicating a strong improvement in operating margins. Basic EPS for the year came in at Rs 35.35 versus Rs 17.11 previously. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share (5% on face value of Rs 10). The statutory auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the results.
Positive for shareholders — profits more than doubled despite a fall in revenue, reflecting much better cost control and margin expansion. The final dividend signals confidence, though the year-on-year revenue decline is a point to watch.
